Teriyaki Roast Cauliflower Mushroom

This is so @#$%^& good it should be illegal, and utterly simple! The fruity nutty mushroom goodness is paired with the sweet & salt spicy nutty umami sauce.

- 8 oz. Sparassis radicata, without any of the thicker base blades.
- 1 T. soy sauce
- 1 T. honey
- 1 t. fresh grated ginger
- 1 T. vegetable oil
- a few drops of toasted sesame oil
Methods/steps
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Whisk soy sauce, honey, ginger and oils together in a large mixing bowl.
- Tear mushroom into 1-2" shreds.
- Thoroughly coat the mushroom pieces in the sauce.
- Spread out on a baking sheet.
- Roast 30-45 minutes, until the frilly edges are crispy but not burned and the centers are still chewy.
- Let cool.
Additional Tips
Very intense rich flavors. A little bit goes a long ways. Serve as nibbles with a few other appetizers.
